How do we begin to discriminate and eliminate those whom do not fit the proper description as our mate? Natural selection can make things so much easier when it comes to brains, beauty, and feminine or masculine traits. Now, I’m not the one to imply that love is based on natural selection. I will say this, love has nothing to do with choosing a mate. My elders have always said that marriage isn’t necessarily about love or at least relationships aren‘t. It takes understanding and patience to stay to together through difficult times and with the result of that comes love. I’m sure you know this quote, “Love stands the tests of time”, but in reality love is the result of those times. By our witnessing of how someone deals with situations, we begin to move forward in trust and submit our devotion to them and become aware of their capability to withstand a relationship.Wednesday, September 02, 2009
